Suggested packing checklist for competing at the regional science fair – PDF of Packing Checklist

Parking (teachers, parents, students):

Van and carpooling is highly recommended for the TCRSF days at the U of M. Parking is limited and expensive. The UofM suggests that you have several dollars in quarters with you if you plan to park at metered parking. However, the meters on Pillsbury next to the Field House are UNAVAILABLE during TCRSF. See Schedule – Maps for a map of the Field House location. Additional UofM maps and parking locations can be found at http://campusmaps.umn.edu/tc/.

Direction for Unloading and Loading Projects:

The Field House is located at 1800 University Avenue SE on the U of M campus, however, that is a one-way street and does not allow for any parking to unload or load projects. To find the loading and unloading area:

  • Going east on University Avenue (a one-way street), turn right onto SE 17th Avenue (same as Church Street).
  • Take the first left turn onto Pillsbury Drive.
  • The loading area is on the south side of the Field House on Pillsbury Drive. --DO NOT PARK on Pillsbury Drive at the hooded meters.
